Cape Town Fire and Rescue Service spokesman Jermaine Carelse said firefighters are still working on “hot spots” in the government building, though they have scaled back from 70 firefighters on Sunday to 20 on early Monday. Fire Emblem Engage is the next upcoming entry in the franchise, where it is focused on a brand-new gameplay mechanic known as the Emblem Rings. This allows for several protagonists from the mainline games to be summoned to a player’s side, where they can assist in battle. These rings provide a new depth for the strategy gameplay, while incorporating these past heroes in a fun way. The first DLC will provide at least two new Emblems for players to use, based on other characters from the series past....

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore will be released for the Nintendo Switch on January 17. It’s a bizarre crossover between Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei series (most popularly known for the Persona games, with a spin-off in Persona 5 Scramble coming soon) and Intelligent System’s RPG series in which teenagers from modern Tokyo team up with “Mirage” characters inspired by Fire Emblem to become pop idols and defeat monsters from another dimension....

When BioWare first announced Dragon Age 3: Inquistion this September, it hardly came as a surprise to hear that Frostbite 2 was attached to the project. This first Jurassic Park trailer doesn’t show off any actual gameplay, but it does feature a compilation of sorts from many of the game’s cinematic sequences. They are quite nicely detailed and don’t follow TellTale’s trademark cartoony look in the least, which will help draw in fans of the original feature films. Graphically, the episodic dinosaur-filled adventure isn’t nearly as sharp as a lot of other games currently available, but they present gamers with a more realistic feel than that of TellTale’s Back to the Future....

Rise of the Tomb Raider was a huge coup for Microsoft when it was revealed that the Square Enix-published title would be available as a timed exclusive for the Xbox One. As such, it was no surprise when it was revealed that the title, which is a follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Tomb Raider reboot, would feature during Microsoft’s E3 2015 press conference. Many fans of the Tomb Raider series were hoping to get a first look at gameplay footage for the highly-anticipated title....
