While the game is set to be great in obvious ways, it is also interesting in the sense that it offers a brand new feature – summoning heroes from other Fire Emblem games to help and assist the main character, also known as Emblems. While there are 12 confirmed characters that will join as Emblems, more could be on the way.
10 Robin
Robin is the main character of Fire Emblem: Awakening. She or he is Chrom’s closest partner and fights alongside him and the Shepherds to put an end to Grima, the Fell Dragon. Wielding their tome and Levin sword, Robin is an expert when it comes to fighting raging Dragons and would make an excellent addition to the roster.
9 Dimitri
Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd, also known as the Boar Prince or the Savor King, is one of the three Lords in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
He is the Prince, and later King of the Faerghus, and the wielder of the Heroes’ relic Areadbhar, a relic he inherited from his father before him. Losing his family and some of his friends made him go insane, but thanks to Byleth’s guidance, he became a kind King.
8 Edelgard
Edelagrd von Hresvelg is the Princess of the Adrestian Kingdom and its future Empress in the games Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Being one of the three main Lords, she holds an important role in the story.

She is the one who starts the war due to her resentment towards the crests and the church. Wielding Amyr along with her two crests, she is a powerhouse and a much-needed Axe user as the other Emblems lack that severely.
7 Claude
Claude von Riegan is a Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes character called a schemer by his peers and ennemies. He is the leader of the Golden Deers. At the same time, he is the grandson of the leader of the alliance, a role that he inherits after the timeskip. Claude is a talented archer, riding his Wyvern while using his heroes’ relic, Failnaught, and would be a great addition to Fire Emblem: Engage.
6 Tiki
Tiki, the voice of Naga, is a character in the Archanea games as a child, and in Fire Emblem: Awakening as an adult. Tiki is the daughter of the Goddess Naga and the Princess of the Divine Dragons.
Tiki’s power is so tremendous that her mother Naga has her stay asleep so as to not lose her mind as all Dragons do, but when she is awake, she is a force to be reckoned with. Being the Princess of the Divine Dragons, she could add a lot to the story as Alear, the main character, is one of the Devine Dragons.
5 Caede
The Queen of Archanea, Caede, is a childhood friend to the Savior King Marth, and his wife as well. She makes her debut in the very first Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light. RELATED: Fire Emblem Engage Could Share DNA with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
Seeing as Marth is already in the game, it would make sense if his closest ally and partner joined him as the legendary Pegasus knight she is.
4 Ryoma
Ryoma is the Crown Prince of the Hoshido Hoshido and an important character from Fire Emblem: Fates. His Kingdom being at odds with Nohr, he is the strongest soldier who is prepared to do anything to stop the invaders and protect his siblings while wielding his Thunder Sword, Raijinto. He is very close to his two retainers, Saizo and Kagero. Ryoma would certainly be an incredible addition to the game.
3 Xander
The eldest brother and Crown Prince of the Nohr Kingdom, Xander, is a main character in Fire Emblem: Fates. While it is hard for him to stand up against his father, the King, he still does his best to protect and guide his younger siblings while fulfilling his duties.
As a strong cavalry unit, he wields his Siegfried with perfection. His retainers, Laslow and Peri, have sworn loyalty to him and always assist him.
2 Hector
Hector, the Prince of Ostia and the leader of the Lycian League, plays a huge role in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade and a minor one in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He is the earliest and first Lord to wield an Axe and be a heavy unit, adding more diversity as compared to his sword-wielding counterparts.
Bold and straightforward, he is never scared of speaking his mind. Added to that is his power while wielding the Wolf Beil, making Hector a strong contender for Fire Emblem: Engage.
1 Soren
Soren is a character hailing from the two games, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. He is part of the Greil Mercenaries and acts as their strategist as he is known for his cunning wits.
He grows a deep friendship and undying loyalty to Ike and assists him both with his intelligence and his powerful magic. A character of his charisma would certainly be fitting for Fire Emblem: Engage.
