Fiorentina announced the temporary acquisition of the 30-year-old with a statement on its website on Tuesday night, reports Efe.
Sanchez began his career in Uruguay with Danubio and River Plate Montevideo before moving to Ligue 1 in 2007, joining France’s Valenciennes.
After playing with Spanish club Elche from 2013 to 2014, he played at Aston Villa for the last two seasons, before his loan to Fiorentina.
