The announcement was made by the official Square Enix Music account, which detailed everything players should expect, including what the new edition adds. Overall, the soundtrack will feature a ton of unreleased tracks that were present in the remake of the 1997 classic game. The soundtrack will contain 4 CDs in total and will include all background music tracks, cutscenes, and additional features that were not found in the original release of the soundtrack. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Plus Edition Soundtrack is set to release on December 23 in Japan. All music was scored by Nobuo Uematsu and Masashi Hamauzu.
