Square Enix will reveal more details about Final Fantasy 16 at The Game Awards later today. The Game Awards is an annual event that celebrates the best games of the year and consists of marquee announcements from the biggest publishers in the industry. Naoki Yoshida, producer of Final Fantasy 16 is confirmed to host a special presentation for the game, but some information that was perhaps scheduled for later in the day has now been leaked.

Insider Gaming claims to have received exclusive information regarding Final Fantasy 16’s pre-order bonuses as well as the contents of its digital deluxe edition. It mentions that anyone who pre-orders Final Fantasy 16 will receive a weapon named Braveheart along with two accessories called Ketsy’s Lucky Charm and Scholar’s Glasses. According to the given description, Ketsy’s Lucky Charm increases the amount of Gil players earn throughout the game while gamers get more XP when they have equipped Scholar’s Glasses.

It looks like the standard edition of Final Fantasy 16 does not offer any more bonuses, but fans can also buy a special deluxe edition that comes with extra goodies. The deluxe edition of FF16 includes digital versions of a mini-art book and a mini-soundtrack on top of everything available in the standard edition. Overall, Final Fantasy 16’s bonuses are fairly standard when compared to the deluxe versions of most games nowadays.

Square Enix may announce the release date of Final Fantasy 16 at The Game Awards, with June 22 being the leaked date. Judging by the available information, it looks like pre-orders for the game are scheduled to go live shortly after the event, as the details shared by Insider Gaming look straight out of FF16’s possible store page on the PlayStation Store.

Fans interested in playing Final Fantasy 16 should note that it was recently rated in Brazil and was classified as unsuitable for those under the age of 16. Supported documents listed drug use, nudity, suicide, torture, and gratuitous violence among others as the reasons for giving the game this age rating.

Final Fantasy 16 is scheduled to launch in 2023 for PS5.
